These Angeline Tournier wedges feature comic strips from Archie Comics and The Beano! While I’m not particularly crazy about peep-toes, I really love those Archie heels.

Final Fantasy Knit Chucks - by PrettySneaky
Note from Artist: When the world is in darkness Four Warriors will come…these customized Chuck Taylors feature characters from Final Fantasy, the classic NES game. Shown here are the Black Mage and the White Mage, but any two characters may be selected to create a personalized pair of shoes.
These are new Converse high tops. A Final Fantasy warrior appears on the outside of each shoe. The uppers are hand knit in 100% wool and are hand-stitched to the canvas shoes. The shoes sport the classic white sole and black tongue.

Alex & Juli are two of my favorite ladies in both the cosplay and fashion community; their passion for both fandoms and fashion simply shines through their impeccably-styled costumes and superheroic civvies, so it’s always a treat to see them. The first day of San Diego Comic Con was no exception - Alex transformed bloodymariathefirst’s Batman Pin Up redesign into a reality by modifying a grey bustier into a Bat-bustier (note: WANT), while Juli wore a Wonder Woman-inspired infinity dress (note: ALSO WANT), created by their friend Tory Depew.
The key to keeping a superhero-inspired outfit from looking too costume-y is to go light on the accessories, so that they complement the bold emblems and bright colorways. Although Alex is wearing long black gloves and thigh-high stockings, they’re both within a monotonous color scheme, which allows the yellow belt to be an appropriate accent that won’t overwhelm the entire outfit. Juli tops off her outfit with a pair of sensible red peep-toe heels and a set of gold wristbands from H&M (as seen here). Gorgeous work, ladies - be sure to look out for them at New York Comic Con this October :D
Note: Twin Bee will be working with Tory to create more superhero-inspired dresses for sale in the near future, so be sure to look out for those on Fashion Tips From Comic Strips!
Let these Mushroom Kingdom piranha plant earrings munch on your earlobe while looking like a true geek! On at Elizabeth Kohn’s Etsy store for $25.50.
I know that these are supposed to be in the style of 90’s concert posters, but the Mystique kind of reminds me of a pulp comic cover (love!).
The books have ended. The films are done. And you’ve stayed through till the very end.
